Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program offered by Adwait Institute of Mindfulness (AIM), and run by Yogi Anand, is unique wellness program that improves the ability of a person to live life unaffected from stress, chronic pain, illness, and stress born diseases such as: headaches, cough & cold, backaches, frequent illnesses or accidents, high blood pressure, fatigue, sleeping disorders, depression, anxiety, and panic irritability, mood swings, chronic pain, heart disease, etc.
This program teaches to the participants how to manage the aforesaid things which may worsen one’s physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, and professional health and well-being. Participants have stated that they feel healthy, energetic, less stressed, focused and dynamic at home as also at the workplace.
MBSR participants feel less – judgmental, reactive and critical of themselves as also to others. Practitioners decreases the frequency and length of medical visits to health clinics, hospitals, and emergency rooms. They effectively deal with their health issues in their daily lives.
The MBSR program consists of 8 weekly classes. Participant’s sincere and strong commitments to attend the classes and subsequently regular practices of home assignments enables to get benefited of this program at large.
